First Collection Drive

We held our first collection drive on February 10, 2015 at Rainbow Lanes of Clayton.  In addition to purchasing items using coupons, the other girls in our troop brought donations to support us.

About Couponing Cadette Freya

I'm Freya, and I am kind of a 70s and 80s freak.  Some of my favorite movies are Princess Bride and Spaceballs.  I like making old song references, and I think I can be kind of a smart-alec sometimes.  I like rock and pop music from the 70s and 80s, as well as the Beatles.  It really bugs me when the radio stations play Manic Monday on any day other than Monday.  Did you know that the Beatles didn't do their own voices in the movie Yellow Submarine?  I know a lot more about the 80s than about the 70s, but I think the 60s had the coolest cars ever.  Some of my favorite shows are Knight Rider, The A-Team, and The Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries.  I've seen the 4-disc set of Live Aid DVDs, and I thought they were really cool!  I guess you could say that I Know What I Like, such as ZZ Top, Huey Lewis and the News, and Bon Jovi, but definitely NOT the internet or new music.  I love animals, I volunteer at the SPCA every week, and I have lots of pets at home such as cats, dogs, fish, and a guinea pig.  Mom also has backyard chickens, but I'm not much of a chicken person.

I'm new to couponing, but I get by With a Little Help From My Friends.  :)

About Coupon Cadette Reagan

Hello.  My name is Reagan.  I am one of the three Couponing Cadettes of Girl Scout Troop 1172.  I am eleven years old.  I have been in Girl Scouts for six years, one year as a Daisy, two years as a Brownie, two years as a Junior and one year as a Cadette.  I love to garden.  I grow flowers, vegetables and fruits in my garden.  I also like to plant trees.  I love to swim, camp and canoe.  I really enjoy being outside!  I take gymnastics and ride horses.  

Adia, Freya and I brainstormed a bunch of project ideas and I am glad we decided to do this one for our Girl Scout Silver Award.  I am excited about using coupons to collect as many items as possible to donate to the food pantry at CCUMC and to the Smithfield Rescue Mission.

Hi everyone! My name's Adia, I'm thirteen years old, and am an absolute bookworm. Did you know that another word for a bookworm is bibliophile? Love that word!
I really like to write fiction and fantasy, and also quite enjoy role-playing. Knitting, cross-stitching, embroidering, painting, drawing, and dancing are just a couple things I favor a lot and do to pass the time. I love the works of J.K.
