September 22nd Collection Drive and Drop Off

Adia, Freya and I did a lot of couponing since the last drive.  It is hard to tell by the photo above but we donated a lot of cereal this time.  I had 22 boxes myself and both Adia and Freya brought more!  It was our largest food collection to date.

Thanks to he girls in our troop who also donated items!

We dropped off the food items at the CCUMC's Feed My Sheep Food Pantry too.  Here is a photo of us dropping the food:

Hope you save a lot!

I grabbed a pretty good deal at CVS today.  They had Total Colegate toothpaste on sale for $2.99 each.  I used a $1 off coupon that I printed at www.couponmom.com bringing the price to $1.99.  I received $2 in extrabucks rewards for my next purchase so really, the toothpaste was FREE!  I just had to pay tax.

I had 2 coupons so I grabbed 2 deals and received $4 is extrabucks.  I paid $4.38 at the register but if you take off the $4 I earned, I grabbed 2 tubes of toothpaste for $.38!

I hope you save a lot too!

Trip to Harris Teeter - Spent $9.25

There are some pretty awesome deals at Harris Teeter this week.   All of my deals are printable coupon deals because we did not renew our newspaper subscription.  We grabbed quite a few of deals for our home but I also shopped as a Couponing Cadette. After tax, I spent $9.25 on all of the items in the photo below.

These items went on sale today so you can grab these deals all week.

The Old Orchard Juice is a really good deal! Select bottles are buy one get one free (BOGO).  The normal price is $2.99 so each bottle rings up for $1.49.  I used a $.50 coupon I printed at this link:  https://oldorchard.com/promotions/  You have to create a free account to access the coupons. Coupons under $1 are doubled at Harris Teeter so I paid $.49 for each bottle of juice.  Harris Teeter only allows 3 like coupons per visit so I grabbed 3 juices!

The Eight Oclock Coffee was also BOGO.  Regular price is $6.59 I was credited $3.30 so it was $3.29 for one bag before my coupon.  I had a $1.50 off coupon I printed at www.couponmom.com so I paid $1.79 for the bag of coffee.

The Campbell Select Harvest Soups regular price $2.50 are on sale for $1.50 each so $3 for 2 cans. I had a $.75 off 2 cans and Harris Teeter doubled the coupon so I paid $1.50 for 2 cans or $.75 each.  I bought 3 of these deals.

The French's Mustard was not on sale but my $.50 coupons expire in a couple of days so I used them.  The mustard was $1.59 each and the coupon was doubled so I paid $.59 each for mustard.

So after tax, I paid $9.25 for all items!

I hope you save a lot too!

That means I just got six bowls for the price of one!

5 Boxes of Cereal for $1.61 at Lowes Food

I found a great deal at Lowes Foods today using coupons.  They have a special right now on some of the General Mills Cereals.  The cereals are on sale 2 for $5 but if you buy 5 boxes at one time, you get them 5 for $9.  In addition to this special, I had a coupon for each box of cereal.  The coupons were for $.75 off a box.  At Lowes Foods, coupons under $1 are doubled so I got $1.50 off each box.

Here is the sale price rundown:

5 -  boxes of cereal:  $9
5 - $.75 off coupons doubled: -$7.50
Total Costs: $1.50 + tax = $1.61

Here is a photo of the receipt:

Thank you Adia for sharing your coupons so I could grab this deal again! We make a great team!

Hope you save a lot too!

I spent $20.40 at Food Lion Today and they gave me a $4 off next purchase!

I spent $20.40 on these items:

I went to Food Lion today to pick up some Oatmeal.  They had their name brand Instant Oatmeal, normally priced $1.89 on sale for $1. They also have another promotion going this week if you purchase certain Store Brand Products, you get $.25 off next order.  You have to purchase at least 4 Food Lion Brand items to get deal.  So I purchased 16 boxes of Oatmeal at $1 each.

I also purchased 5 Overstuffed Beef Raviolis by Chef Boyardee.  Normal price is 5 for $6.25, on sale for 5 for $5.  I had a $1 off purchase of 5 so I got them for $4!

Total spent after tax $20.40 AND I have a $4 coupon to use on my next trip!

I hope you save a lot too!

Diaper Deal at Target

When we dropped off donations at the Smithfield Rescue Mission last month, the woman working there said that they could really use feminine products and also diapers and pull-ups for the kids.  After that, we started looking for deals on diapers, and we found this deal on the Totally Target website:

Buy 2 Up & Up Giant Pack Diapers ($28.99) = $57.98
Receive a $20.00 Target gift card.
We used four $5.00 Target gift cards from previous purchases to bring our cost to $37.98 for over 300 diapers.

Yesterday we went to Target to spend that $20.00 gift card on feminine products for the Smithfield Rescue Mission.

Always pads x4
Regular Price:  $5.49 per pack
Coupon:  $1.50 off of two
Earned: $5.00 Target gift card
Total with tax:  $23.44
Total after $20.00 gift card and $1.50 off coupon:  $1.94.

Donations Today

The Couponing Cadettes met up today to combine our couponing deals.  Food items will be delivered to the CCUMC Food Pantry and the toiletries will be delivered to the Smithfield Rescue Mission.

We also clipped coupons together.

Lila, also pictured, is a rising Junior in our Girl Scout Troop.  She helped us load all of the food into the car.  She was a big help!

Couponing is a great way to help feed those in need.

Hope you save a lot!
