Coupons and deals we have! This was what we prepared on August 26th before we left for dance class -we often coupon during the time my other siblings are dancing.

And here's our pile of coupons and deals for today! We circled the deals we decided were best for us to do, hence the red sharpie on that first pile of papers there.

Every Day deals at Dollar Tree - Soft Soap and Welch's Grape Jelly

Hi all.  I found these deals at our local Dollar Tree.  You should check out your local store.  Dollar stores are a good place to save some money if you know what things cost in other stores.  You can catch some great deals.

Here are a few deals I picked up this morning:

On August 26th we went to Walmart.

We bought 2 = $5.76
We had a coupon from the August 23rd Red Plum flier of $2.00 off of 2 = $3.76/2
SavingStar had a $2.00 cash back offer for 2 as well = $1.76/2
1 bottle of Suave Professional = .88

Suave Gold Infusion Shampoo & Conditioner = $2.50
We bought 2 = $5.00
We had a coupon from the August 23rd Red Plum flier of $3.00 off of 2 = $2.00/2
SavingStar had a $3.00 cash back offer for 2 as well = +$1.00!
We made a $1.00 profit! :-D

Suave Kids Hair Care = $2.50
We bought 2 = $5.00
We had a coupon from the August 23rd Red Plum for BOGO = $2.50/2
SavingStar had a $1.00 cach back offer for 2 = $1.50/2
1 bottle of Suave Kids Hair Care = .75

Isn't that fun? $2.26 spent on 6 bottles of shampoo and conditioner! Awesomeness!

On August 26th we went to Food Lion.

We had a $1.00 off coupon from the August 2nd Smart Source flier = .79/2

We also went to Office Max on the same day.

We had a .75 off coupon from the July 26th Smart Source flier = .25

Yesterday we went to CVS.

When you spend $10.00 on CVS brand oral care you get $8.00 in Extra Bucks back.

Suave Men's Deal at CVS

On August 24th we went to CVS.

CVS has Suave Men's Bodywash on sale 2/$3.75
We bought 4 = $7.50

August 23rd Red Plum had a BOGO for Suave Bodywash -$1.88 = $5.62
We printed out 2 printable coupons. Originally, we had printed out 3, but they only let us use 2 of them = $4.62

CVS has a spend $6.00 get $2.00 Extra Bucks Award on Suave Bodywash = $2.62
SavingStar had a cashback offer of $.50 off one Suave Bodywash = $2.12

So that equals $.53 per bottle! :-D

Even BETTER French's Mustard and Ketchup at Walmart deal!

After gymnastics tonight, I went to  Walmart to get the French's deal and a NEW display had new bottles of French's Ketchup that had a $1 coupon for a 20oz bottle of Mustard.  An even better deal!

There is a limit of two like coupons grabbed two bottles of of each.  Using the four $1 coupons on the bottles, after tax, I spent $3.87!

I will save my coupons I printed for mustard and use them another time.

French's Mustard and Ketchup Deal

Hi all.  Did you know that French's makes Ketchup?  Me either.  I guess that is why they are offering a $1 off coupon on the mustard to try it.  

I grabbed this French's Mustard and Ketchup today at Walmart.   

Mustard - $1.24 - $.50 coupon from www.frenchs.com
Ketchup - $1.98 - $1 coupon 

Total cost for mustard and ketchup:  $1.72

I hope it will let me print another mustard coupon so I can get this deal again!

Minus 3 printable coupons for .50 each = $1.86

Minus  SavingStar cash back offer of $1.00 for buying 3 = .86

1 box of Tetley tea 24 bags = $1.68

Minus a .75 coupon from the August 2nd Smart Source = .93

A 4 pack of Bic Razers = $3.18

Minus a $3.00 coupon from the  August 2nd Smart Source = .18

Noxema 4 count razers = $2.67

Minus a $2.00 coupon from the August 2nd Red Plum = .67

Redeeming Walgreens Rewards

Since we had been earning Balance Rewards and Register Rewards at Walgreens, we decided to use some of them to stretch the amount of money we had available to spend on our project.

Our total price was $14.04 including tax.
We redeemed 10,000 Balance Rewards Points to get $10.00 off, bringing our total to $4.04.
We also redeemed $4.00 in Register Rewards Coupons to bring our total to $0.04.

Note:  You don't earn any Balance Rewards Points or Register Rewards Coupons when you redeem them on a purchase.

L'oreal Hair Care Products at CVS

This week CVS has L'oreal Advanced Hair Care products on sale for 2/$8.50 with $4 Extra Bucks back. We bought one shampoo and one hair spray. This brought our total to $4.50.

The July 26th Red Plum had a coupon for $2 off L'oreal Shampoo or Conditioner and another for $2 off a L'oreal Styling Product. This brought our total to .50.

Ibotta has a .20 cash back offer for any shampoo purchase. This brought our total for both items to .30!

Couponmom.com  is our favorite website to find extraordinary deals. You have to create an account, but it's free. Deals are listed by store and state. This link explains how to coupon.

We print out the best deals for the stores we plan on going to. Then we circle the deals we're interested in, gather and print any coupons we need, and make notes for any cash back offers.

We only cut out the coupons we plan to use. We leave the rest in the flyer. We put them in a folder sorted by date so we can easily find the coupons we need.

Smithfield Rescue Mission's 2nd Annual Banquet and City Barbeque Fundraiser

Smithfield Rescue Mission is hosting the second annual Restoration 365 fundraising banquet next month.  This is how they do most of their fundraising to help the community throughout the year.

Another fundraiser has been set up with City Barbeque of Garner for all day Wednesday, August 19.  City Barbeque will donate 25% of all proceeds to the Smithfield Rescue Mission for customers who bring in the flyer from the Smithfield Rescue Mission Facebook page on that date.  City Barbeque is located in the new Cabela's shopping center in Garner off Highway 70.

Delivery to Smithfield Rescue Mission on August 11th

Freya and I dropped off the items at the Smithfield Rescue Mission on Tuesday.  The lady working was really happy to receive our donation.

Collection Drive on August 4th and Delivery to CCUMC

We had a really good collection drive on 8/4 to take to the Feed My Sheep Food Pantry at CCUMC and the Smithfield Rescue Mission. 

 I would like to thank all of these people who gave food donations to us for this drive as Freya, Adia and I are working towards our Girl Scout Silver Award.
